The body is a high powered machine

I think that the body is a high powered machine, in the aspect that on a daily basis people are pushing themselves to the limit to see how far they can go to get things done. People are waking, and putting fuel into their bodies and going about their day. You cannot have a machine without fuel, and people cannot function on a daily basis without food. In this aspect we are like a machine. People are also going on a high pass on a daily basis stuggling to get things done just like a machine does also.

One aspect that humans are not like a machine is that we sleep at night, whereas machines may rest or stop, but they definetely do not sleep. Humans use energy to keep themselves going, unlike machines which use energy, but not the same kind. Machines are operated by others, whereas humans are operated by themselves only. So in some ways humans and machines mirror each other, but in other ways there really is no comparison.
