What role I will take, and how I work with deadlines

The job I feel I will provide or the role I think I will take when it comes to the completion of the CityBlog is the “runner” position. “Runner” meaning I will do things for others when they want me to. I have no problem taking orders and doing things for others, so in that way I will be able to help others and contribute to the entire project. The reason I have a feeling I would like to do this is because I am not very good with technology, I am just not all that familiar with some of the things that we are doing that’s all, and that is why I said I wouldn’t mind doing things for others. Working in a team I guess would be a better word for that. I don’t mind working with others to achieve our goal of our CityBlog. I know that people in the class are much better with the ideas that are being expressed within the class, and I have no problem working with others to make a final product. If you give me a task I know I could figure it out and get it done, but I prefer working in a group with others.

As far as deadlines go, I have no problem with that, and I actually prefer having a deadline. I work well when I have time limits. Otherwise I put things off, and wait until the last minute. As long as we have a deadline, I know that I will be able to get things done on time. The other thing that also becomes a factor is as long as other people in the class get their things done as well. I can get things done on time as long as others are willing to get things done on time as well. Yesterday in class we set out a “sudo” time line for when things are going to be done, and as long as we start to realize what we really are doing within the class, and start working on the CityBlog I think we will be able to manage our time well enough to finish things on time. I know that the entire class wants to do well in the class, and I know that the entire class needs to work together to get things done to make the deadline of Launch Party. I think our class likes each other so I really do not for see any problems in our getting along to get things done. I like deadlines. They keep things interesting, for then you have stress that “Oh I have to get this done by this day and blah blah blah,” but then after you get everything done, you feel so much better. Deadlines are a good thing, and I don’t mind having in them. I work well with them, and I think as long as the entire class works together we should have no problem.
