Can the human thought be replicted by a machine?
The question for the day is, “Can human thought be replicated by a machine?” Turing stated that the human brain is an efficient computer, so I am thinking that yes human thought can be replicated by a machine. What I mean by this is the fact that we as humans teach and input things into a computer and tell it what we want it to do. If a computer can learn from what we are putting into it, then isn’t the computer essentially a version of ourselves? If the computer can remember things that we put into it, it is sort of a version of us, and then essentially the computer is replicating our human thoughts and ideas within the “brain” of that computer. What I found interesting about this question is the idea that we are teaching computers to remember us, and we are teaching the computer to do the things we tell it. Turing was right when he said that the brain is and efficient computer for the brain is a very powerful tool, and there is endless space in which things can be inputted into it. This is very much so the same for computers. The more you put into a computer the more it remembers about you and like the human brain, a computer can store an endless amount of information into it. So, in conclusion, the human thoughts can be replicated by a machine and the human brain is an efficient computer.
